Coordinator: Minister Maate Yubu
Project: WeRemnant JRaq Orphanage, Nursery and Primary School outside of the refugee camp in Muhokya
Project Update: The WeRemnant Nursery and Primary school is running well. Lessons and all the school activities have been done and there is a great improvement with all the children. The inspector of schools from Kasese visited the school to assess the teachers and see how they are teaching. We have maintained our population of 50 children at school.
Accomplishments/Testimonies: The inspector of schools from Kasese visited the school and he appreciated the great improvement in academic of teachers and learners. The teachers’ salaries have been increased from 15,0000 to 20,0000 UShs and they appreciated the salary increase. Fellowships and Bible studies are still being held at the school for the spiritual growth of the teachers and students. Construction of WeRemnant Jraq and raising of the wall is in its completion.
Issues: The inspector is still emphasizing that the school construction needs to have extra ventilation and space and playground for the learners, because the classrooms are too small for learners. Rainfall has affected the construction of the wall raising hence making the construction go slowly. The school requires more seats for teachers; we bought a few but more are still needed. Pupils require more clothes and shoes because they are growing old, and their old uniforms are becoming too short for them or not fitting them.
Follow up: All the school activities are being supervised and monitored well. Teachers are performing well in their duties.
Next 90 days: We are hoping for the purchase of land for the WeRemnant school and also the construction of WeRemnant school. This will boost and support the education of the orphans. Academic assessment of teachers will see how far they have gone with syllabus coverage.
Description of pictures: The pictures show (L-R) the raising of the wall of WeRemnant JRaq School, food for pupils celebrating their birthday, and monthly food for the orphans.

Accomplishments/Testimonies: During the month, children have attended school without any absence, no healthy issues reported. Malaria cases are down to zero after mosquito net provision. Discipline is slightly improving after announcement of closure of the project next year, due to indiscipline related cases. Health is improving and we thank WeRemnant and God.
Issues: We still have the old issues with host families of our children. Please keep us in prayers. We also need buy more shoes and clothes.
Follow up: We are following up on discipline with the children and will be restarting Bible classes again as well as learning other skills again.
Next 90 days: Finishing of last quarter of the school, restarting devotion meetings and bible classes again, we intend to buy a cooker so the children can learn baking as a skill.

Project: Building Church-Schools, Providing Electricity in Remote Villages, and Digging Sustainable Wells in Remote Villages and Refugee Camps
Project Update: We have experienced an increase in learners.
Accomplishments: We have ensured that we have enough staff to serve the growing number of children in our schools.
Issues: We will be having multiple graduations this month. We must make sure that there is food for parents and also rent graduation gowns for the children.
Next 90 days: Due to the growing population in the school we will need to construct new classes that will accommodate our learners.

Project: JESUS Center Development Fund
Project Update: Our principal left the school at the beginning of October. The deputy is acting as we are left with one month before we close the school year. The school blessed the female children with sanitary pads, and the leftovers were given to other schools in the community.
Accomplishments: The vegetable garden is now an ongoing project growing tomatoes, pumpkins, spinach, and butternut. The teachers went to the community to give the elderly and young children soup. All activities were very successful.
Testimonies: Two kindergarten children were enrolled in the school.
Issues: We are asking WeRemnant to please increase the donation from 500USD to about 1,000USD. We know that the cost of living has gone up in many countries; it has also increased over here. We are still catering for vulnerable children. We intend to build the secondary school.
Follow up: Income tax returns submission and fund-raising activities.
Next 90 days: Graduation Day and awards are coming up. This is when grades zero to kindergarten graduate to the big school.
Description of picture: Soup day in the community to the elderly and fun day at the school.
