UGANDA
Coordinator: Minister Maate Yubu
Project: WeRemnant JRaq Orphanage, Nursery and Primary School outside of the refugee camp in Muhokya
Update: Greetings in JESUS’ Name, I take this honor to thank you so much for great support and all the prayers for the WeRemnant school and orphanage in Uganda. This has changed the lives of so many orphans because they have free education. The school left for Christmas break in December, and we are only remaining with JRaq orphans.
Accomplishments/Testimonies: Our key successes are: the pupils left on holiday and all pupils did well with good grades and there is great improvement as far as academics are concerned. We thank GOD for good health. This time, the pupils have not got any sickness; they have been healthy, and glory be to GOD. Good feeding has been provided for both orphans at WeRemnant Jraq and orphans that stay with the relatives in the refugee camps. The learners are growing in their faith and there is good health for the teachers too. Bible studies have been conducted every evening and so the learners can read the Bible and share the Word. Issues: We need the construction of the WeRemnant school due to small classrooms. We also need to purchase land with a compound where the learners can participate in different physical education activities.
Follow up: We are praying to purchase our own land to put up a school; we are also encouraged by the inspector of schools to do so. Our current location has no compound, and the classes are too small and compacted. We gather to pray for WeRemnant every Saturday on Mount Tabo in Kasese district. We always pray that you get more strength and blessing for the organization.
Next 90 Days: We hope to purchase land for the WeRemnant school and the construction of WeRemnant nursery and primary school.

Project Update: This month we purchased maize for 18 families. We currently have 18 families and 20 infants. Out of these 20 infants, four are under the age of 2. We also have three babies that are waiting to be recruited into the program.
Accomplishments: We have been having our continuous Bible studies. We also visited an orphanage in Blantyre on Christmas day.
Issues: We have had other toddlers join their siblings in the dumping sites to look for food.
Next 90 days: We are trusting the LORD for financial support from our donors. We are hoping to start our self-sustenance program.
