APRIL 2025
UGANDA
Coordinator: Maate Yuubu
Project: WeRemnant Jraq Orphanage and School, Uganda
Update: Greetings in JESUS’ Name. The month started well, and the students are also doing well with a just few cases of sickness. However, we have experienced heavy sunshine, and it is getting very hot over here. The pupils will be taking off in the next month for summer break.
Accomplishments/Testimonies: Our key successes are the ongoing construction of the school toilet, the pupils performing well, and just a few cases of sickness. Academics is going on successfully and there is great improvement in the children’s studies. Thank you for your prayers; we are seeing the effect here at the school.
Issues: The school has no toilets or bathrooms. The high price of food sometimes affects the feeding of children. Heavy sunshine affects agriculture, hence making the cost of food high. We need more utensils to use in the kitchen and more desks as well.
Follow up: The construction of the toilet is ongoing. Please keep us in your prayers.
Next 90 Days: We expect to accomplish the following: the construction of the school toilet, begin the construction of bigger classrooms for children, and the construction of a second hostel for the children because our children getting older and they may not share the same house in the future.

Update: Glory to JESUS! We have successfully reached the end of the first term. The school has closed to give students time to refresh and return in two weeks. This also gives us time to do some renovations and repairs of the broken furniture in the classrooms.
Accomplishments/Testimonies: We have thankfully been able to fence the school compound; once it is complete, we will document the entire process. Thanks to WeRemnant for supporting us to enable this to happen. Parents, teachers and students are all grateful for the support from WeRemnant which transforms the community at large.
Issues: Our school is growing very fast and as a result, we will be forced to add three more classrooms in order to accommodate all the students.

Coordinator: Chantil Kolli
Project: WeRemnant Children’s Orphanage, Andhra Pradesh, South India
Update: Glory to JESUS! It's been a blessed month for our children because they were well prepared and attempted their annual exams, while some are pursuing their studies.
Accomplishments/Testimonies: Some children are confident they have a place to achieve a successful life and reach their future goals. They are experiencing GOD's love through WeRemnant's work. Each child gives thanks to GOD every day. They were unloved before, but now they are special to JESUS because WeRemnant enables them to testify to JESUS in their daily lives.
Issues: We are trying to relocate our orphanage due to a lack of medical facilities and transportation. It has been difficult to be able to secure medical support for the children. We are also facing local challenges from the government and political pressures.
Follow up: Our children are interested in sports. We are looking forward to sports kits and some special summer schooling.
