This week, we are exposing the schemes of the enemy. Why? So that the Body of CHRIST will not be ignorant of the enemy’s schemes (2 Corinthians 2:11), but will be able to stand against his schemes (Ephesians 6:11) and will not be devoured because we are sober and alert to his schemes (1 Peter 5:8). Do you get the idea that the enemy is a schemer?
Training is critical in warfare. Recognition of the enemy and his tactics are essential to skillfully wield our Sword, the WORD of GOD (Ephesians 6:17) against him. And so, we train, we learn, we become aware of our opponent and his strategies, that we may come against the gates of hell (Matthew 16:18-19) powerfully and effectively.
Today, we are exposing symbols of witchcraft in everyday life. These symbols are no longer hidden. They are being used, promoted, and celebrated in plain sight. Do you recognize them when you see them? Please note: This is by no means a comprehensive list with detailed explanation. If you want to know more, please ask the HOLY SPIRIT to guide you and seek wisdom from HIS true soldiers who have expert knowledge in this area.
See below for several symbols of witchcraft along with a basic description:
1. Egyptian symbols
These ancient Egyptian symbols were used in the worship of false “gods,” i.e., demons. You will find them in jewelry, tattoos, coins, dollar bills, concerts, etc., and renamed so that they appear innocent. The “all-seeing eye” or “third eye” can be found just about everywhere in society. Beware – this is a very dangerous portal into the enemy’s camp.
2. Ouija board
Disguised as innocent tables games, Ouija boards are portals used in divination or seances to “communicate to dead loved ones” (i.e. evil spirits), or even, according to one claim, JESUS HIMSELF! Notice the symbols of sun worship and moon worship. This is a very dangerous game in which the pieces are moved by demons.
3. Hamsa hand symbols
Hamsa hand symbols originated in ancient Mesopotamia and are used in the worship of the “goddess” Inanna. These are commonly found in jewelry. Each finger and thumb represent a different “force.” They are thought to bring abundance, good luck, and protection against evil. On the contrary they welcome demonism.
4. Crystals
Crystals are used to summon energy, peace, serenity, sexual lusts, power, and more, based on the color of the crystal. While crystals are harmless in and of themselves, they become dangerous when a person aligns with (makes covenant with) the crystal in order to access its supposed power. The source of the so-called power? Demons.
5. Astrology / zodiac
Astrology is the “study” of the movement of stars and their supposed influence on humans. Many people guide their lives by the stars, rather than by the CREATOR of the stars.
“And when you look up into the sky and see the sun, moon, and stars—all the forces of heaven—don’t be seduced into worshiping them. The Lord your God gave them to all the peoples of the earth.” Deuteronomy 4:19 NLT
5. Symbols of witchcraft in jewelry
The half-moon indicates moon worship (i.e. witchcraft). The tree is the Celtic symbol of the tree of life, meaning, man came from a tree and is connected to other worlds.
5. Tattoos
Tattoos often include symbols used in witchcraft. In this case, we see the “all-seeing eye,” the four elements of nature, “sacred” geometric symbols, mystical creatures, and astronomy constellations.
5. Starbucks logo: Lilith
The Starbucks logo is a picture of the “goddess” Lilith. Lilith is actually an entire category of demons that promote sexuality, promiscuity, gender confusion, child murder, feminism, abortion, homosexuality, and more.
Thank GOD for the BLOOD of JESUS! HE continues to expose the enemy’s schemes and has given us powerful and effective armor and strategies for warfare. May we be ever mindful, sober and alert, in JESUS’ Name.
