Uganda August 2026 Missions Report

Uganda

Coordinator Name: Maate Yuubu

Project Name: WeRemnant Jraq Orphanage and Primary School; Refugee camp in Muhokya, Uganda

1. Introduction / Opening Greeting

All glory belongs to JESUS for another productive month! The month has been good with all the projects in Uganda. The orphans have been studying well, and they completed the exams very successfully. It was beautiful to have representatives from WeRemnant who visited all the projects.

2. Monthly Summary/Key Accomplishments

This month we thank GOD for the following: The children in the orphanage received their monthly meals successfully, thanks so much for our supporters. The teachers received their salaries for this month which made them happy. Medications were successfully given to the Bwinanule community. Scholastic materials such as rulers, rubbers, pencils, pens, and colors were successfully given to all students. One of the orphans appreciated our visitors to the school as they supplied scholastic materials to all the 100 students in school and gave perfumes to all teachers. May GOD bless WeRemnant for sending them.

3. Current Challenges

We have the following issues: Lack of water in the school orphanage and community, thus we have to buy water from town. Children who travel to us from very far locations face hunger issues because we only provide food (breakfast, lunch and dinner) for orphans in the orphanage; the teachers receive only lunch and breakfast.

4. Goals for the Next 90 Days

Our goal for the next 90 days is the construction of the school and the renovation of girls’ orphanage.

5. Call to Action

Your faithful generosity allows WeRemnant to meet the physical, emotional, and spiritual needs of many of the most vulnerable children and families in Uganda. Lives are transformed, relationships are restored, and communities are changed because of YOUR generosity.
