Project: WeRemnant JRaq Orphanage, Nursery and Primary School outside of the refugee camp in Muhokya
Update: : Greetings in JESUS’ Name. WeRemnant orphanage and the school have been doing well and there has been great change since it started; the children have grown up. The school is running successfully and the orphanage as well.
Accomplishments/Testimonies: Our key successes are improvement on feeding of children; improvement in academic performance of learners; and the improvement of the health of learners because we recorded few cases of sicknesses. We really appreciate you so much for your support. Many lives of Ugandans have changed through your support, particularly the orphans who are vulnerable; they can now smile and have a future.
Issues: We are facing the following issues. The school has no school toilet, and we need to construct a new one. We are experiencing classes that are too small to accommodate children, and also a lack of furniture such as desks, office chairs and tables.
Follow up: All the school activities are being followed up and supervised.
Next 90 days: We expect to accomplish the following: construction of WeRemnant school toilet, purchasing and construction of WeRemnant school, and the renovation of WeRemnant school.

Update: We are planning on growing tomatoes this month to sustain the program while the children are on summer holiday.
Accomplishments: We are still continuing with teaching the parents the Word of GOD. There is a lot of interest in wanting to learn. We managed to harvest our eggplant garden this month and we are hoping to sell some so we can get a bit of income.
Issues: We are trusting the LORD for financial support from our donors, as we have been having challenges with feeding the toddlers adequately.
Next 90 days: We are hoping to start a vegetable garden to help sustain some of the programs at the ECD.

Update: Greetings, this month we have started renovating our school buildings to accommodate more learners since we are moving to upper grades (i.e. grade 4 and 5).
Accomplishments/ Testimonies: We were able to meet KNEC (Kenya National Examination Council) requirements which is a key milestone to our education system here. We received good commendations from the Education Officer which led to trust from parents and teachers towards the school.
Issues: Due to the fall of the US dollar, we are encountering difficulties in running the schools.
Follow up/90 Days: We are looking forward to the renovations of our school walls and floors.

Project: WeRemnant JRaq Orphanage, Nursery and Primary School outside of the refugee camp in Muhokya
Update: : Greetings in JESUS’ Name. During the month, the school has been going well academically, though there are some limitations such as the toilet at the school. The toilet is no longer in use because it’s broken and hence it has affected the school activities and limits academics for teachers and learners.
Accomplishments/Testimonies: Our key successes are: Academic excellence among pupils; fellowship between the learners and teachers; good feeding among the teachers and orphans; and teachers have received their upkeep in time. We have the following testimonies: Teachers testifying about the reception of their salaries; spiritual growth among the orphans; and good feeding among the orphans.
Issues: We have the following issues: Our school toilet is now broken, and pupils cannot use it; renovation of the school at WeRemnant JRaq; and the purchasing of cases where orphans will keep their clothes.
Follow up: All the school activities are being followed up and there is much improvement in those activities. The purchase of farmland is being followed up, and the orphans are being monitored.
Next 90 days: Purchasing of farmland where the children will be planting food. Purchasing of land where the school will be constructed. Construction of new school toilet and WeRemnant JRaq house toilet.

Update: We still currently have 15 toddlers coming through the ECD program. There are no major changes this month.
Accomplishments: We are still continuing with teaching the parents the Word of GOD. There is a lot of interest in wanting to learn. We managed to harvest our eggplant garden this month and we are hoping to sell some so we can get a bit of income.
Issues: We are trusting the LORD for financial support from our donors. We have been having challenges with feeding the toddlers adequately.
Next 90 days: We are looking forward to the visit of the coordinator for Africa to purchase land for farming, to see how we can use this to grow different types of crops. When sold, we will be able to use the money to sustain the WeRemnant projects.

Update: Greetings, this month we have experienced an increase in the population from the previous month from 51 to 68. We are hoping to receive more pupils. We are therefore requesting an additional classroom and learning materials such as iPads.
Accomplishments/ Testimonies: We have the successful transition of our third-grade class to fourth grade, which was a major achievement. We received good feedback from the community about the contribution our school is making in the community.
Issues: Due to the fall of the USD, we are encountering difficulties in adjusting the pay to our teacher and running other projects. Kenyan country coordinators are also using their salary for transportation, so if the salary delays, they fail to reach the schools and collect information.
Follow up/90 Days: It will be very impressive if we can manage to repair our school walls because we have experienced heavy downpours here for the last four months, which in return, damaged our classrooms.

Update: Greetings in JESUS’ Name! The month has been going well, except some of the orphans got sick and have been admitted to the hospital which has been costly. Also, heavy rainfall has killed people, leaving more children suffering.
Accomplishments/Testimonies: During the month, we had good feeding for the children, successful Bible studies and much improvement on children’s health, water availability and successful payment of teachers. We are testifying to the improvement of all WeRemnant school activities, such as teaching, Bible studies, and successful payment of teachers.
Issues: We are praying for the construction of a new toilet for children, as well as the building of a WeRemnant Jraq toilet. We need construction and purchasing of farmland where the school will be constructed. We have a small classroom, which leads to lack of ventilation.
Follow up: All the school activities are being followed up and there is much improvement in those activities.

Update: We started the second term at the ECD. We have 15 toddlers in nursery and 10 in reception.
Issues: We are trusting the LORD for financial support from our donors. We have been having challenges with paying the teachers at the ECD. This has caused us to have less toddlers coming through.
Next 90 days: We hope to open a WeRemnant farm where we will be growing crops to sell and use the finances to sustain the WeRemnant programs. We are hoping that the ECD center will be more self-sustained.

Accomplishments: We had a pipe burst in the school and incurred unforeseen expenses for which we are still paying our water bill. We have survived lots of challenges in the school. We increased our school fees by 100 ND right across the board with the hope of increasing our teachers’ salaries.
Issues: We are still waiting for the allocation of our plot from the City Council. We are praying about this issue.
Follow up: We are still praying for the secondary school to be granted permission to start in 2025.
Next 90 days: We are believing GOD for the approval of our secondary school request.

Update: We have successfully repaired the wells that were not functional.
Accomplishments/ Testimonies: We dug two new wells. These wells will successfully help over 2,000 locals who are completely reliant on the wells for fresh water. Thanks to WeRemnant for the project.
Issues: Due to the fall of the US dollar, we are encountering difficulties in adjusting the pay to our teacher and running other projects. Kenyan country coordinators are also using their salary for transportation, so if it delays, they fail to reach the schools and collect information.

Update: Greetings in JESUS’ Name, the school and orphanage has been moving on well, and the orphans have been well too along with the teachers. As far as academics are concerned, we are completing the syllabus, and children are performing well.
Accomplishments/Testimonies: The key successes at school and at the orphanage are the syllabus completion and academic improvement. The children are successfully participating in co-curriculum activities such as athletics, music, and other outside activities. Pupils have been healthy, and there were no serious cases of sickness at school. Feeding of children has been successful too. We appreciate WeRemnant for the great support for the children and teachers, especially for food and accommodations for children and teachers.
Issues: Pupils need bags or cases where they can keep clothes. The school has no toilet because it is broken, so we are in need of a new toilet. We are in need of the renovation of the WeRemnant school and the purchase of the WeRemnant farm where we can grow our own food
Follow up: All the activities have been followed up and completed successfully.
Next 90 days: Please pray with us to accomplish the following: The construction of a new toilet. Purchasing school farmland where we can grow our own food. Purchasing metallic cases for children to keep their clothes.

Update: We started the second term at the ECD. We have 15 toddlers in nursery and 10 in reception.
Accomplishments/Testimonies: We are continuing with Bible studies with the guardians of the babies and toddlers. There is a huge desire from the guardians to get to know the LORD and have a close relationship with HIM. We had two women from the group bring their husbands to the last two Bible studies which we conducted.
Issues: We are trusting the LORD for financial support from our donors, as we haven’t been able to take any new recruits due to shortage of funds.
Next 90 days: : We hope to open a WeRemnant farm where we will be growing crops to sell. The finances will be used to sustain the WeRemnant programs. We are hoping that the early childhood center will be self-sustained.

Update: : Our schools are currently on a break; we are hoping to resume on Monday.
Accomplishments/ Testimonies: During the month, our teachers have been refreshing their courses to enable them to take good care of our kids when school resumes.
Issues: Due to the donor decrease, we have experienced some challenges in paying and maintaining the school activities. When the LORD intervenes and provides for WeRemnant, this will help us to run smoothly.
Follow up: Due to heavy rains, we are looking forward to renovate some of our classes so as to prevent further losses.

Project: WeRemnant JRaq Orphanage, Nursery and Primary School outside of the refugee camp in Muhokya
Update: The WeRemnant school opened on February 5, 2024, with 60 orphans, most of whom are from the refugee camp in Muhokya. The school is in operation. We have an issue with our learners who were not able to move to their next class (from primary four to primary five) because we don’t have a classroom and teachers, so the learners remained in the same class this year.
Accomplishments/Testimonies: We have experienced improvements through sharing the Gospel. Every evening, learners gather and share the WORD of GOD. There has been academic excellence through the efficient skills of our teachers. There is also improvement regarding the health of the orphans and learners through quality care by the matron and patron of the school. We also made payment of the school’s operational license.
Issues: The main issue we are facing is the need for land which is available for sale for school construction. We also need to renovate the toilet at the school for learners to use. Some orphans have been sick. There is a need for new uniforms and shoes for learners because the ones they have no longer fit them because they have grown out of them.
Follow up: We supervised all the activities, and the subjects are being taught well. There is great improvement among learners.
Next 90 days: We pray we can buy land for school construction, and for farming; also the renovation of the learners’ toilet.

Accomplishments/ Testimonies: We were able to donate Bibles to the orphan families so they can continue growing in their spiritual life.
Issues: We currently have one teacher only, so there is not enough attention given to the children in the classrooms.
Next 90 days: We want to be able to have a farm where we can generate income for the orphans to be supported.

Accomplishments: The learners were on holiday; nothing much was done during this period.
Issues: No issues to report.

Update: The school has been running very successfully. All the school activities have been doing well and teachers are teaching well. We didn’t have any sickness cases; pupils have been healthy. I appreciate you so much for the great prayers.
Accomplishments/Testimonies: The key success this month is the academic excellence of the students. Learners are getting the food and eating well. The WORD of GOD is being carried out daily, and devotions and fellowship have been conducted. The care for the orphans has been improved and there has been no sickness cases. There is also great improvement in the orphans’ lives both physically and spiritually.
Issues: The main challenges we have are that our school toilet is broken, and it needs to be fixed.
Our classrooms are too small. We pray to have our own land and construct larger classrooms. We need more seats for teachers at school and some desks.
Follow up: We are still working hard to continue achieving our goals through the academic excellence of the orphans, and also doing more fellowship to improve the faith of the orphans and give them hope.
Next 90 days: Reconstruction of the broken toilets for pupils. Purchasing of school land and construction of the school. School renovation and purchase of more scholastic materials.

Project Update: I purchased eight tables for the kindergarten and grade zero that is moving to Senior school and needed new uniforms.
Accomplishments: Purchased tables, adding them to existing ones. We also enrolled 28 new learners from the community. A dumb and deaf child was brought to kindergarten. We prayed for the child in JESUS’ Name, and she now speaks and play with other children. Hallelujah! Another deaf child was brought in this semester; he is seven years old, and we are believing GOD for his healing.
Issues: We need a plot to build our own school; please join us in prayer.

Accomplishments/ Testimonies: We have successfully registered our grade 3 and grade 6 pupils who are going to sit the national examination. Parents are happy that we provide guidance and good morals to their kids.
Issues: We are looking forward to the renovation of our classes in our two schools in Kabula village and in Chebosi village.

Update: Greetings in JESUS’ Name. WeRemnant school and orphanage are doing well. The students have been on holidays, and we are going to begin schooling on the 5th of February this year. The orphans are well also and have not experienced any sickness that is strong, except some malaria for few orphans.
Accomplishments/Testimonies: WeRemnant is doing so great! There has been a great improvement with the orphans; they have achieved and completed the first phase of Bible study; now they can read, write, and share with each other. There is also achievement in reception of new clothes that were received today. There has been academic improvement seen amongst the students; performance in class is improving greatly. The teachers are thankful for their salaries from WeRemnant.
Issues: The toilet in the school has broken and needs to be reconstructed. We need to purchase land for the school and school construction. The orphans have grown old and the uniforms we purchased for them no longer fit them, including shoes and open shoes. We request funds to purchase additional uniforms, shoes, and open shoes. We need scholastic materials such as desks for orphans since we are going to have the next class. We are also requesting funds to pay for license for operation for 2024.
Follow up: We have done all the activities of the school and supervised the students with teachers and supporting staff. Every child is being monitored and cared for well.
Next 90 days: We need to make renovations of the orphans’ toilet at school. Scholastic materials like desks, seats for teachers and learners, need to be purchased. The purchasing of school land needs to take place.

Project: Smile at Home
Update: We have really had a good beginning to the year. The children have been healthy, thank GOD! We intend to end this project this year as earlier communicated until we find a home for all the children. It has been difficult taking care of them at the foster homes.
Accomplishments/ Testimonies: The children are healthy and doing well.
Issues: As communicated earlier we will be ending this program and looking for a space to house all the children under our care.
Next 90 days: Looking for a way to move our children out of the homes of the host families that are not Biblically sound. We need a new space to put the children.

Project Update: Students have successfully reported back to school, and they are ready to proceed with their education.
Accomplishments: The students are now back from break and are excited about the new school year. We are excited about the growth we are seeing also.
Issues: We are looking forward to the renovation of the classrooms.
Next 90 days: Due to the growing population in the school, we will need to construct new classes that will accommodate our learners.

Project Update: I visited one site in Nsalu ECD. I only purchased a bit of maize from my finances to feed the kids for a few weeks and the teacher’s salaries. (Only two are remaining now for the 30 toddlers.)
Accomplishments: We have been having our continuous Bible studies. We visited an orphanage in Blantyre on Christmas Day.
Issues: I am suggesting to WeRemnant that, moving forward, it would be good if WeRemnant purchased land here in Malawi where we could use it to grow crops to sell and give some to the families. The guardians are happy to work on the land if it is available and I prefer it this way because we also want to empower them to be self-sustainable and discourage the spirit of dependency.
Next 90 days: I think this would help WeRemnant to focus on other projects as well if Malawi could self-sustain. I thought this would be ideal because of the fertile soils and water access.

Project: WeRemnant JRaq Orphanage, Nursery and Primary School outside of the refugee camp in Muhokya
Update: The WeRemnant Nursery and Primary school has taken a break for Christmas. We would like to give you a special word of thanks for your support. This school has changed the lives of so many orphans because they are given free education. Thank you again, WeRemnant Family, for your continued support.
Accomplishments: The pupils did well in their grades and there is great improvement as far as their academics are concerned. We thank GOD for good health. At this time, the pupils did not get sick; they have been healthy and many thanks to GOD. We thank GOD for the feeding provided for both orphans at WeRemnant Jraq and the orphans that stay with the relatives in refugee camps.
Testimonies: The students have improved academically. They showed high performance, both physically in exams, and spiritually through prayers. There is good health for learners and teachers too. Bible studies has been conducted every evening so the learners can read the Bible and share the Word.
Issues: We need the beginning for construction of a WeRemnant school due to the small classrooms. We would like to purchase land with a compound where learners can participate in different physical education activities.
Follow up: We are praying to purchase our own land to build a school because we are being encouraged by the inspector of schools to do so. Where we are currently located has no compound and the classes are too small and compacted. If you would like, join us in prayers for WeRemnant every Saturday on Mount Tabo in Kasese district where people gather for prayers. We always pray for you to get more strength and blessing for the organization.
Next 90 days: We are hoping for the purchase of land for the WeRemnant school, and for the construction of the WeRemnant school. This will boost and support the education of the orphans, academic assessment of teachers, and to see how far they have progressed with syllabus coverage.

Update: We have successfully completed a year without any major setbacks, and we thank GOD for life. The children have been healthy and have greatly improved in academics and other skills, plus knowing JESUS CHRIST, though it has been a challenge.
Accomplishments: The academic year was completed successfully. The health of the children improved after getting the mosquito nets. We also had an eye camp where the kids’ eyesight was checked.
Testimonies: We praise GOD for life.
Issues: We had issues with host families where the kids were housed. They were teaching the kids doctrines that were not based on the Bible.

Project: Nsalu and Lumbadzi Baby Rescue
Update: We bought maize for 18 families. We currently have 18 families and 20 infants. Of these 20 infants, four are under the age of two. We also have three babies that are waiting to be recruited into the program.
Accomplishments: We have been having our continuous Bible studies. We visited an orphanage in Blantyre on Christmas Day.
Issues: We have had other toddlers join their siblings in the dumping sites looking for food.
Next 90 days: We are hoping to start our own self sustenance schemes.

Update: The school closed for Christmas break on December 6. The children have left for the holidays. We left behind one teacher on the campus to look after the school premises and property.
Testimonies: I trusted the LORD to meet our needs, and also the bills for the teachers’ salaries. I am grateful to HIM that HE came around for us and that the school does not owe anyone!
Next 90 days: Starting the new year with more learners and committed teachers despite the high inflation.
Consider where everyone in our newsletter would be if there was no effort provided.
We would like to commend all our country coordinators who worked hard this year to serve the KINGdom of GOD. You carried the Love of JESUS to the doorstep of every child, refusing to see anyone of them left behind. We say: Thank you, may the LORD continue to enrich you and strengthen the work of your hands.
To all our donors, thank you for your love, support, prayers, and sacrifice on behalf of WeRemnant. Thank you for your care and sacrifice! The work that is being done by your partnership and support is blessed by our LORD and SAVIOR JESUS CHRIST. May GOD bless you in all you do! GOD is faithful.

There have been a few cases of rebels attacking different areas close to the school. It is starting to rain now which at times affects the lessons.
Accomplishments: We thank GOD for the completion of the wall raising and orphanage renovation which was achieved by repainting it. It has been not easy due to rainfall that had been disrupting the construction, but we are glad to reach its completion. The Gospel among learners is being spread and learners can now preach, pray, and sing. Teachers are completing their syllabus very well and pupils are excelling in their academics.
Testimonies: We testify the completion of the wall by the grace of GOD. There has been great improvement in academics by the pupils. Fellowships and Bible studies are being carried out at school by the pupils. Feeding has been so successful, and pupils are eating well.
Issues: We are facing the challenge of rebels that are trying to attack some individuals from different parts of the community, so we pray for GOD’s protection. We also need to enlarge the classrooms and continue with school construction so that pupils can have large classrooms and a big compound.
Follow up: All the school activities are being supervised and monitored well; teachers are performing well in their duties. Tests are conducted on students who are falling behind so we can catch them before it is too late.
Next 90 days: We are hoping for the purchase of land for the WeRemnant school, and also the construction of WeRemnant school. This will boost and support the education of the orphans. We will conduct academic assessment of teachers and to see how far they have gone with syllabus coverage.

Project: Little Saints Orphanage
Update: I visited with the children at the orphanage. They received their provisions. They all seemed healthy.
Accomplishments: The children all seemed to be in good health.
Testimonies: The children are safe and growing, notwithstanding the conditions of the country.
Issues: Things in the country are extremely tough. The children are being cared for but there is a request for more to be done.
Next 90 days: Provision from the LORD for the kids and WeRemnant
Description of picture: Delivery of monthly provisions to the orphanage kids.
Consider where everyone in our newsletter would be if there was no effort provided.

Project: WeRemnant JRaq Orphanage, Nursery and Primary School outside of the refugee camp in Muhokya
Project Update: The WeRemnant Nursery and Primary school is running well. Lessons and all the school activities have been done and there is a great improvement with all the children. The inspector of schools from Kasese visited the school to assess the teachers and see how they are teaching. We have maintained our population of 50 children at school.
Accomplishments/Testimonies: The inspector of schools from Kasese visited the school and he appreciated the great improvement in academic of teachers and learners. The teachers’ salaries have been increased from 15,0000 to 20,0000 UShs and they appreciated the salary increase. Fellowships and Bible studies are still being held at the school for the spiritual growth of the teachers and students. Construction of WeRemnant Jraq and raising of the wall is in its completion.
Issues: The inspector is still emphasizing that the school construction needs to have extra ventilation and space and playground for the learners, because the classrooms are too small for learners. Rainfall has affected the construction of the wall raising hence making the construction go slowly. The school requires more seats for teachers; we bought a few but more are still needed. Pupils require more clothes and shoes because they are growing old, and their old uniforms are becoming too short for them or not fitting them.
Follow up: All the school activities are being supervised and monitored well. Teachers are performing well in their duties.
Next 90 days: We are hoping for the purchase of land for the WeRemnant school and also the construction of WeRemnant school. This will boost and support the education of the orphans. Academic assessment of teachers will see how far they have gone with syllabus coverage.
Description of pictures: The pictures show (L-R) the raising of the wall of WeRemnant JRaq School, food for pupils celebrating their birthday, and monthly food for the orphans.

Project: Smile at Home
Project update: We thank you so much for the last quarter of the year. Kids reported back to school and they are almost halfway done. Tuition has been paid, food and other utilities are in place.
Accomplishments/Testimonies: During the month, children have attended school without any absence, no healthy issues reported. Malaria cases are down to zero after mosquito net provision. Discipline is slightly improving after announcement of closure of the project next year, due to indiscipline related cases. Health is improving and we thank WeRemnant and God.
Issues: We still have the old issues with host families of our children. Please keep us in prayers. We also need buy more shoes and clothes.
Follow up: We are following up on discipline with the children and will be restarting Bible classes again as well as learning other skills again.
Next 90 days: Finishing of last quarter of the school, restarting devotion meetings and bible classes again, we intend to buy a cooker so the children can learn baking as a skill.

Project: Building Church-Schools, Providing Electricity in Remote Villages, and Digging Sustainable Wells in Remote Villages and Refugee Camps
Project Update: We have experienced an increase in learners.
Accomplishments: We have ensured that we have enough staff to serve the growing number of children in our schools.
Issues: We will be having multiple graduations this month. We must make sure that there is food for parents and also rent graduation gowns for the children.
Next 90 days: Due to the growing population in the school we will need to construct new classes that will accommodate our learners.
Description of Picture: Graduation of our students at Chebosi school. They are transitioning from pre-primary 2 to grade 1.
Country Coordinator: Minister Chipo Catherine Amòo
Project: JESUS Center Development Fund
Project Update: Our principal left the school at the beginning of October. The deputy is acting as we are left with one month before we close the school year. The school blessed the female children with sanitary pads, and the leftovers were given to other schools in the community.
Accomplishments: The vegetable garden is now an ongoing project growing tomatoes, pumpkins, spinach, and butternut. The teachers went to the community to give the elderly and young children soup. All activities were very successful.
Testimonies: Two kindergarten children were enrolled in the school.
Issues: We are asking WeRemnant to please increase the donation from 500USD to about 1,000USD. We know that the cost of living has gone up in many countries; it has also increased over here. We are still catering for vulnerable children. We intend to build the secondary school.
Follow up: Income tax returns submission and fund-raising activities.
Next 90 days: Graduation Day and awards are coming up. This is when grades zero to kindergarten graduate to the big school.
Description of picture: Soup day in the community to the elderly and fun day at the school.
Conclusion, consider where everyone in our newsletter would be if there was no effort provided. To all our donors, thank you for your love, support, prayers, and sacrifice on behalf of WeRemnant. Thank you for your care and sacrifice!

Project: WeRemnant JRaq Orphanage, Nursery and Primary School outside of the refugee camp in Muhokya
Project Update: The WeRemnant Nursery and Primary school is running well. The pupils have been studying well and none of the kids have gotten sick this month. The school is still maintaining the number of children; thankfully we have not had any child withdraw.
Accomplishments/Testimonies: Pupils are excelling in academics. The students are attending fellowships and Bible study. The JRaq wall at the orphanage is still under construction.
Issues: We are being queried by the Department of Education regarding the size of our classrooms. They are concerned that the rooms are too small for learners. The Department of Education wants us to have better ventilation in the rooms. We are praying for the school to be renovated with big rooms and to have a school latrine at the school, so we do not keep going to the orphanage. Unfortunately, our head teacher just lost his child and we are in mourning with him.
Follow up: We are monitoring, assessing, and evaluating all the school activities. We want to be sure all things are being done successfully. We are also monitoring the construction of the wall at the JRaq school.
Next 90 days: We are hoping for the purchase of land for the WeRemnant school land and the construction of WeRemnant school. This will boost and support the education of the orphans.
Description of pictures: The pictures show the raising of the wall of WeRemnant JRaq School, food for pupils celebrating their birthday, and monthly food for the orphans.

Project: Smile at Home
Project update: During the holiday period, we experienced strained relationships with the foster families helping us take care of the kids. The children have not been opportune to come for Bible devotions and extracurricular activities we designed to occupy the kids during holidays.
Accomplishments/Testimonies: Mosquito nets were provided to all the children. This is to keep them from getting sick with malaria. Food was also provided to the children.
Issues: We are having issues with the foster families; they don’t follow the Bible accurately. They encourage the children to be disobedient to us. We have been admonishing the children for a long time, but all seem to be fallingon deaf ears. We have decided that beginning next year, we will aid the children in the foster homes until we get our own home. This will allow us to have custody over the children and not leave the care of the children to the community.
Next 90 days: We are watching the grades of the children. Last term some children performed poorly but they need better grades since this is the last quarter of the year.
Country Coordinator: Lois Grant
Project: Lumbadzi Infant Baby Rescue and Early Childhood Development Center (ECD) in Local Villages
Project update: Babies brought into the Lumbadzi Infant Baby Rescue Center are cared for until they are matched with a foster family, and each center staff strives to have each child placed by a loving, Christian family. When a baby comes to the center, every effort is made by police and the children’s office to look for any relatives who are willing to care for the child. Currently there are Bible studies are being added to the program.
Accomplishments: The ECD center children are now wearing uniforms. This is to bring uniformity in the classroom.
Testimonies: Six children from the ECD center have moved on to elementary school.
Issues: The ECD center does not have clean water.
Follow up: We are looking for a field to rent so we can grow maize. This would allow the foster families to be more self-sustainable.
Next 90 days: Getting clean water into the ECD center. Continue to grow the Bible study programs.
Description of pictures: These pictures show the monthly distribution, and school uniforms to the toddlers.
Country Coordinator: Bishop Caleb Wanjala
Project: Building Church-Schools, Providing Electricity in Remote Villages, and Digging Sustainable Wells in Remote Villages and Refugee Camps
Project Update: Although WeRemnant is not a water organization, while building churches in Kenya, WeRemnant learned of the extreme water shortage in Bungoma. The villages surrounding our school lacks access to safe water. The villagers must walk several miles to get water, but the water gathered can be contaminated. The water wells that WeRemnant has drilled in Kenya are a testament to the power of prayer.
There are two wells currently being dug; the first one is at Mikayu Seed Faith Churchand another at Nalondo Church. Currently the well at Mikayu Seed Faith Church is 90 percent complete. The engineers are waiting for the pulley system to install into the well. The well at Nalondo is still being sunk but the ground is too loose, making it difficult for the engineers. The engineers need to build some concrete cylindrical wall structures to prevent the collapse of the loose soil underneath the weight of the well.
Accomplishments: WeRemnant is focused on providing schools with all the necessary and basic services which the children in the villages are entitled to as children of GOD, regardless of the circumstances of their birth.
Issues: We are going to have a graduation ceremony of our preprimary two classrooms who will be joining grade 1 next term. We must provide the children with food and graduation gowns. We are also supposed to have a comprehensive insurance certificate for our van; it will cost $250 and is to be paid in three installments.
Testimonies: The children that I was able to meet looked very healthy.
Next 90 days: Successful acquisition of school van and the completion of the new wells.
Country Coordinator: Joy Dakosta
Project: Ibiam-Kids Orphanage Homes
Project Update: The children are doing very well.
Accomplishments: The building for the caretaker has been completed. Workers testify each time to the growing difference that they see in the children, who have started to make friends and are growing in their confidence. Ibiam Kids Orphanage is a safeplace where children can experience Christ-like love from the workers.
Testimonies: The children that I was able to meet looked very healthy.
Issues: Fuel has risen from N180 to N700-N1000. Due to the greatly increased cost of fuel in the country, two orphanages are being visited within a month.
Follow up: We will keep up with the support and provide for them every three months. However, the caretaker still insists that we come every month.
Next 90 days: The dedicated transporter that takes me to the orphanage has increased his fees. Iam hoping to get more funding to cover the costs.
Description of picture: Caretaker and children during the distribution of food.
Country Coordinator: Minister Chipo Catherine Amòo
Project: JESUS Center Development Fund
Project Update: This month we have been trying to raise funds to buy menstrual pads for our girls as most of them can't afford to buy them. Some students have had to stop coming to school during their periods. On the 23rd of August we shall be handing out pads we are able to purchase.
Accomplishments: This month the kindergarten children had a fun day and raised 203 ND where the staff bought brooms, mops, and rakes for the school. We also had a water pipe burst and by GOD’s grace, one of the parents fixed it for us.
Testimonies: We are trusting the LORD to begin our secondary school after the coming year.
Issues: We are asking WeRemnant to please increase the donation from 500USD to about a 1,000USD. We know that cost of living has gone up in many countries; it has also increased over here.
Follow up: We need to raise fees; we are aware that about half the number of the students cannot afford to pay currently. A few of the vulnerable students sometimes fail to pay. JESUS Center often must subsidize their fees.
Next 90 days: Need to establish the secondary school so that we don't throw the learners back into streets after grade 7 which is the highest level of our primary school.
Description of picture: Pads we bought for the children, the pipe that busted at the school, and the cleaning supplies bought by the teachers for the school.
In conclusion, consider where everyone in our newsletter would be if there was no effort provided.

Project: WeRemnant JRaq Orphanage, Nursery and Primary School outside of the refugee camp in Muhokya
Project Update: The WeRemnant Nursery and Primary school is running well. The teachers received 10 Bibles. This will help them grow spiritually. We also had a field trip for the teachers and learners. Competitions were held in academics and athletics. We also had Bible sharing.
Accomplishments: Pupils excelling in academics, fellowships and Bible study are always on, sports activities for children, and we have food available for children.
Testimonies: Pupils are improving in their academics. The pupils also attended the field trip with their teachers. Teachers received Bibles. We also celebrated the birthdays of the children.
Issues: We have to renovate the WeRemnant orphanage by increasing the wall and repainting the house.
Next 90 days: Retaining the wall for WeRemnant house and repainting of the house at WeRemnant JRaq house. Suspected rebel attacks will cease around Kasese.
New Effort: There is a need to set up a mobile healthcare program. This will enable us to provide medical assistance to the children in the school, orphanage, and refugee camp at little to no cost.
Country Coordinator: Lois Grant
Project: Lumbadzi Infant Baby Rescue and Early Childhood Development Center in Local Villages
Project Update: Monthly distribution of food to foster families and the growth of food in the vegetable garden. Accomplishments: Harvesting of tomatoes for sale. This will help the families be a little bit more self-reliant.
Testimonies: Continued work with foster families as we look for ways for them to be more sustainable.
Next 90 days: Construction of borehole for clean water for the toddlers at the Early Childhood Development Center. Also looking for a way to build an extension to the Early Childhood Development Center.
Country Coordinator: Joy Dakosta
Project: Little Saints Orphanage
Project Update: It is getting harder and harder to get to the orphanage due to its location. The cost of transportation has skyrocketed in Nigeria.
Accomplishments: Despite the challenges faced, we were able to get food and necessities for the children at the orphanage.
Testimonies: The children that I was able to meet looked very healthy.
Issues: None at the time.
Next 90 days: The dedicated transporter that takes me to the orphanage has increased his fees. I am hoping to get more funding to cover the costs.
New Effort: We are looking to increase the number of orphans and street children that we educate.
Country Coordinator: Bishop Caleb Wanjala
Project: Building Church-Schools, Providing Electricity in Remote Villages, and Digging Sustainable Wells in Remote Villages and Refugee Camps
Project Update: Beginning phase of digging of well in Nalondo
Accomplishments: Successful delivery of materials on site for well.
Testimonies: The opportunity to build a well in Nalondo.
Issues: There are none currently.
Next 90 days: Successful acquisition of school van.
New Effort: Begin building of a CHRISTian university in Bungoma County.
Country Coordinator: Bro Tom Summersville
Project: Missionary to Kenya
Project Update: Served four adults and children. Walked the streets every day to counsel, encourage, correct, guide, and teach many people who are idle seeking more truth and direction and guidance through the Word of GOD.
Accomplishments: When I was back in the USA, my family and friends blessed me with some money. I used that money to get a business for a woman who I had known for several years. Since meeting her, I have been teaching her the Word of GOD and counseled her numerous times. So, I decided to take a huge step of faith to help her to start a business.
Testimonies: I met different people from different churches who are disenfranchised with their churches. This is because their pastors kept preaching the “prosperity gospel.” I spent time teaching them a deeper understanding of the Word of GOD. They told me that I was sent by GOD because they had given up hope searching for a church where they could finally obtain a deeper understanding of the Word of GOD.
Issues: Limited resources to assist people in need that are being discipled.
Next 90 days: Because many churches are teaching the “prosperity gospel,” many sheep are falling away from their existing churches. So, I'm constantly meeting Christians who have left their churches and are seeking a deeper understanding of the Word of GOD.
Coordinator: Minister Chipo Catherine Amòo
Project: JESUS Center Development Fund
Project Update: The Center received a good standing certificate when we completed our income tax returns.
Accomplishments: All salaries were paid to the teachers, and we were able to purchase all the stationary for this semester. We are starting a campaign for pad donations for children who skip school during their monthly cycle.
Testimonies: Praise the LORD! They have recalled me from retirement; we will now have extra funding for the school.
Issues: We need to get a bookkeeper for the school so that it can be easier for income tax purposes.
Next 90 days: The graduation for all grades from 0 upwards and presentation of awards to best teachers and students for each month.
WeRemnant’s Malawi Coordinator distributed chairs to children at the Early Childcare Development Center and food to our recipients at Nsalu and Lumbadzi.
Children at WeRemnant’s JRaq House Orphanage gladly receive the food provided by WeRemnant’s partners.
An optician came to visit the children at the orphanage to examine their eyes. Members of the community also came out to get their eyes checked.
WeRemnant’s Nigeria Coordinator delivered provisions to Little Saints Orphanage.
Classrooms at the JESUS Center School are being renovated and improved. This school educates children of poor farmers and gives them a fighting chance for a decent education.
WeRemnant repaired wells to provideclean water to the local villagers.
Additionally, WeRemnant acquired a school bus for easy transportation of students to and from WeRemnant schools.
In 2022, WeRemnant opened the WeRemnant JRaq House and WeRemnant Nursey and Primary School in Nyamirangara, Uganda. Orphans living in the JRaq House are being educated at the school. The school and orphanage are located just outside of Muhokya Refugee Camp. The closest city is Kesasa, Uganda.
